Behind the paper
A small project with a playful hinge.
Mirthsy is an independent digital project gathering compact, free game experiences for adults who want a brief change of pace.
Why “Mirthsy”?
The name is an invented word inspired by “mirth”: a simple kind of gladness. The extra turn at the end gives it a little motion, like a paper wheel nudged into life.
Small worlds, not big promises
Our aim is modest and deliberate: offer short entertainment without purchases, deposits or rewards with real-world value. The collection currently includes Comet Folio, Merry Mechanism and Whistlewheel Orchard, each presented in its own focused page.
Mirthsy is designed for grown-up audiences. It is not a children’s portal and it does not offer real-money gambling. The games use familiar reel imagery solely as free entertainment.
The visual workshop
The site borrows its rhythm from paper animation, mechanical optical toys and storyboard frames. That language keeps the experience tactile and curious while the navigation stays calm and readable.
